I had a table made for the dining room of my house. The shape I designed is oval with the corners tighter, offering a sitting space for someone to sit at the head of the table. This shape enables for the people sitting at both ends of the table to still be integrated as if the table would be a round one.
"Schweizer Kante": this detail makes the very massive table top looks lighter.
Leg detail: the legs are slightly angled so that the large table top also appears lighter
Corner detail: the oval shape enables more space on the table but the flatter ends provide sitting space at the head of the table.

Eine Auftragsarbeit mit Details, die diesen Tisch so besonders machen: die ovale Form der Tischplatte wurde von der Kundin selbst kreiert und bietet viel Platz bei schlanker Form. Die abgeflachte „Schweizer Kante“ lässt das massive Tischplatte leicht wirken. Die Beine sind konisch gedrechselt & stehen leicht angewinkelt.
