A Wunderkammer - German word for a "wonder room" meaning a Cabinet of curiosities- were rooms, or sometimes simple pieces of furniture, in a residence where European nobles and bourgeois of the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries collected and displayed exotic objects from all corners of the known world.
I decided to unite all the jewelry I'm making under this term. Each piece is unique and doesn't belong to a collection. It exists in its own world.
Since I studied design, I felt the need to create elaborate concepts and develop complete collections to tell a story, and that prevented me from making jewelry. Under this overarching concept, I can bring together all the miscellaneous objects I'm making purely for the joy of creating and rejoicing in the final result.
